The Feccano cooperative, a Valrhona partner since 2015, grows an unusual Haitian cocoa using its carefully controlled fermentation and quality techniques. Since 2017, in collaboration with AVSF we have been supporting Feccano to regenerate “creole gardens”, a local agroforestry system in which cocoa trees and food crops coexist. 982 growers get the benefit of this environmentally-friendly and profitable model, which boosts yields by 50%.
