The KSS cooperative has been a Valrhona partner since 2023 and grows its cocoa using an agroforestry system that relies on cows to fertilize and weed the earth. The cocoa is from a unique terroir and stands out for its carefully dried beans that are fermented only very slightly, if at all. KSS is Rainforest Alliance, Bio (organic) and FairTrade certified, all of which guarantee that it uses practices that care for the environment and offers producers improved living conditions.
